Presented as a visual album, Ridgio’s Twenty VII Winters is the latest installment for his Winters series that he drops on his birthday each year. Reflecting on another year around the sun, he aims to remind listeners that no matter what life may throw at them, one can always recenter themselves through the power of love; whether it be acts of self-love or expressing love to a stranger, friend, partner, or God.



Making music based on whatever his mood was in the studio, Twenty VII Winters can be described as “genreless music.” Ridgio flexes his versatility whether it be through his lyrical dexterity or practicing melodies on an assorted palette of different beats, finding inspiration everywhere from more bass-heavy trap to even country and everything in between. Ridgio ultimately uses his platform to be a spokesman for God, once stating in an interview, “It’s all inspired by God in some way, so the scriptures really do have an impact on that aspect as well.”


With Twenty VII WInters, he intends for old and new fans alike to not only enjoy the music being presented, but also be inspired to connect with a higher power as well.
